The career of Ordway changed drastically in 2011, after her character in the show as Escapee brought her closer to Justin Gaston, her husband. A year later, the couple married. Melissa was chosen to play Chloe Carter on Hollywood Heights not long after. Melissa's acting career took off following her appearances in Ted The League, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone channeling, and Odd Thomas. In 2013, she got two important recurring roles. Sidney Price in 90210 and Abby Newman in The Young and the Restless. Ordway resides with Justin in Los Angeles.
